As Senior Backend Developer in our Engineering Team, you are part of a dynamic environment that drives innovation and makes a positive impact on people's lives. Leverage your expertise in backend development and cross-team collaboration, to design a scalable backend structure, ensuring stable, secure, and effective mental health products.

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient backend microservices using technologies like Node.js, Elasticsearch, Event queues, and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional team members to define objectives and implement cohesive code, elevating the user experience 
• Encourage innovative ideas for new products or features by closely monitoring industry developments and trends
• Embrace continuous education and training to stay updated on best practices, explore new programming languages, and provide guidance to fellow team members
• Advocate agile processes, operational excellence, and coding best practices, emphasizing clean code, readability, and test-driven development
• Demonstrate leadership capabilities by taking charge of projects when required: participate in the product lifecycle from discovery all the way to deployment

Must Haves

• Several years of work experience as Software Developer 
• 3+ years of experience with Node.js 
• Proficient experience using non-relational Databases (MongoDB)
• Affinity for test-driven development and code documentation
• Experience with Queue Management systems like Amazon SQS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ

Nice to Haves

• Experience in TypeScript
• Ability to design large-scale resilient distributed microservices on a cloud infrastructure (preferably Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 13485) for medical products 
• Working knowledge of Redis and ElasticSearch 
• University Degree in Computer Science or similar
